National Sculpture Garden Institution in Washington DC
First to Review - September 24, 2009
This place is amazing! In the winter you can ice skate, and in the summer, there\'s a gorgeous fountain. There\'s a good variety of sculptural art to enjoy, its very relaxing and its a must see! Also, don\'t miss the Alexander Calder at the corner of Constitution and 14th, it\'s huge, dark and really complex. I missed it the first time, but found it by accident my second time around.

I love all the windows, gives the gym a really open feel. However, the equipment was dirty, the machines were not well kept, and everything smelled funky.....yeah, lots of eye candy, but then just go to a bar.....also thought it was pretty funny that a lot of the "go-go" boys I saw the previous night were there "working it"....The spinning classes were awesome though, and Richard is the best!

Off the beaten path, but a really nice gym. It was small, but when I went it was empty, love that! The equipment was brand new and the facility was really clean. The decor was fun and modern and the staff was beyond friendly. Not the best place to people watch, but who goes to the gym to people watch?......

A great selection of clothes and stuff. The sales people were really nice and friendly. I love that they carry Ben Sherman, do you know how hard it is to find Ben Sherman in Texas?? I could have used a cocktail though, our store here in Houston encourages drinking while shopping, what else could one want?!?!

Very central location, 2 blocks to the metro, close to sightseeing, close to the nightlife. The hotel is beautiful, the service was incredible. No complaints here.
Halo Lounge Bar/Club in Washington DC

Went there twice during my last visit. The bartenders are super nice, and the drinks are really good, although pricey. The music is good and its a nice, trendy bar. However, what's up with the attitude? I'm not the best looking guy, but I hold my own and am friendly. There were some pretty unattractive guys in there that truly thought they were it. Don't get me wrong, plenty of friendly people. There's that group though, that is pretty pretentious and push people out of the way. You know what daddy says about pretention......

This place was dirty, overcrowded and smelled horrible, but it was so fun! The bartenders were okay, the whole only cash thing.....kinda sketchy...i mean what are you doing...laundering money? The bartenders were really nice, and so were most of the employees.
Sisters Restaurant & Nightclub Bar/Club in Philadelphia

Went here on my recent trip with a girlfriend for her birthday. There was a fight at the downstairs bar, and instead of kicking everyone out that was fighting, they let one girl stay. So then this girl gets into another fight and another and then the bartenders are jumping in.....what the hell? Kick them all out! Bar staff shouldn't play favorites. Dirty, but the music was really good.

It wasnt dirty like a lot of the other bars. You could actually sit down and chit chat with friends and not feel like people were parading/prancing around looking for trade. The bathrooms were nice, and the drinks were good, but slightly overpriced, which i dont mind.

The staff was very friendly, the room was great, and the hotel housekeeping was good about cleaning the room promptly when asked to. The location is great too. And there is a YMCA very close by that has an agreement with them, so you workout there for a reduced fare. That was great. The YMCA was like 6 stories and had great equipment. Overall a great hotel for the price!
JR's Bar & Grill Bar/Club in Washington DC

Went here after dinner on a Saturday night, it was very crowded. The place was horrible, the service was horrible. You would think they could expand a bit. I've been to three other JR's in the country, this one was by far the worst one.

Went here on a Sunday for brunch. It wasnt too crowded, which was nice and the decor was really nice. The menu was pretty limited and plain. The bloody mary was ok, but strong. I liked the atmosphere but service was mediocre and so was the food.
