Beauty, but with Beasts

I stayed in a PVRPV property just before Christmas 2010. It was a beautiful, comfortable condo directly across from the beach, with a balcony that had amazing beach/ocean views. My only issue is that there were roaches (big and small) AND a bed bug infestation. It took a while for me to realize that they were bed bugs as I have not experienced them before. I thought they were mosquito bites. But they were much more intense and slightly painful, and were not as responsive to anti-itch creams. By time I figured it out and let PVRPV Management know, it was our last night there. They asked why I waited so long. Then they told me that the people who stayed there prior to me made no such claims. They were useless. Sadly this experience made what should have been an awesome vacation, just an OK vacation.
