Hobo's Bar/Club in Portland, OR
First to Review - May 11, 2007
Hobo's is a great place to go if you're looking to have dinner or some quiet drinks. I highly recommend the baked brie. :) Usually there is a piano player, no loud music, so you can actually have a conversation with your date. The clientele is mostly upscale, older than the dance club set, and queer except for the occasional bachelorette party (ugh).

We dropped by to try out Bent last night. The decor is cute and quirky, the bartender was darling, my drinks were especially yummy, and the people were actually friendly!! So often we try out a new bar and upon entering, the cooler-than-you regulars turn to give a "you don't belong here" glare... Bent is the ONLY bar I have ever been in where other (presumably regular) patrons actually came over to welcome us and make sure we were having a good time. We will definitely be back!
