try the "newer" 24-hour fitness gyms, many are just equipment, you have a 24 hour pass card, no crowds, trainners/staff are there during the day, and you do your stuff without the "muscle rat" showing off, next to you

Kohrl department stores, or a Dayton Hudson Store (Marsall' fields, Target if you want "cheap")if these are going to one-timers, still a good thing to have a "fairly" decent pair of trousers in the closet

Latino/Cuban shops, In Tampa Bay Florida, Ybor City...Miami/FtL'dale almost anywhere in the many Latino Shopping Districts...in NY, I lean towards a shop that has alot of "Older" latin/itiallian men styles, good fedoras start around $35

NY City, isn't the bitter cold, like the Midwest, (MN, MI, chicago) it's a bit of a drive Niagra Falls, are beautiful any time of the year...congrats on 10 glorious years!

small and fresh, and well checking out.

Don't let it size fool you, great food, and freshly prepared...it isn't on 7th Ave, but on 8th and 15th, the off-the-beaten path...I say it a great alternative to the frenzy of the "pub style" places, or the Columbia. Prices are somewhat better than the other two major italian places. (4/7/11 - rumor has it, the owner is expanding nextdoor to have french cuisine added) they have lunch-buffet.

old, but unique

old looking, but clean, and good daily specials...not the glitz of HB Marys' or Street Car Charlies...worth the quiet try
