This place cost about 90 dollars a night for an 8 night stay - clean rooms and very friendly staff, free internet and an excellent downtown location. No second glances at same-sex couples in double rooms and a doorman keen to recommend clubs etc.

... but not the kind of bar to draw you in and make you sad to leave. Seems to have its regulars and the food isn't the best. If nothing else, a great view over the gayest four corners of the universe.

Very welcoming downtown bar with a mixed crowd - the martinis are amazing, too big to fit in just the one glass so they give you two!!!

My partner and I stopped by at the Twin Peaks primarily because she couldn't face the trolley ride back downtown without going to the loo! When we went in it was obvious that this was a real neighbourhood bar but within about 15 minutes we were welcomed into the company of about 8 or 9 true gentlement who couldn't have made us feel any more at home. I wouldn't want to recommend this too greatly because I don't want it to change!!! Definitely one of the best bars we've been in over in the US.
