Not the perfect bar, but despite its flaws a guy can have fun here. Lots of cute guys, if you don't mind em young. The bear/leather bar down the street attracts the hairier set, but for smooth twentysomething hotties, the Union is best.

Of all Cleveland's clubs, this one is best hands down. No, the bartenders don't make conversation very easily, and most of the guys are preening for attention, but compared to what passes for gay bars in the rest of the city, Twist is a relief. It looks cool, is in a safe neighborhood, has good parking, and has a large space that is easy to move around in and mix with other guys. Forget about Cocktails, Hawk, and the rest of the dives. Twist is the place to bring a date, hang out with friends, or cruise.

Hilarious. One Wednesday night I decided to drop in after an appointment downtown. Of the ten or so men, and I use that term loosely, that were there, I noticed something odd. Each and every one had a shaved head. Some had goatees. All were effeminate. This is what the leather scene in town has been reduced to? I know everybody says the Stallion is a summer place, but still, there's no excuse for queening up a leather institution.

That's what I think of whenever I think of this bar. The region is gentrifying, so they say, but you can't tell, and this bar looks more old school blue collar dive than today's hip gay club.

Sorry excuse for a gay club in the year 2009. Haven't we surpassed the old silly drag show scene?

People visiting from outside the state should know, this is not a "spa" or "hotel." It's a bathhouse. Anyway, it looks ugly and smells like poppers and geezers having carnal intercourse. Does that arouse you. Not me!

I put my beer bottle down on the sink while I was washing my hands in restroom (basement restroom) and a cockroach scurried across the sink. Good thing I didn't throw up. A guy using a walker tried to flirt with me. You get the picture. Ugh!!!
