really warm and friendly in a good neighbourhood
We moved here after the dissapointments of the other place and nothing dissapointed us about this place.very nice staff.
cant imagine how it became gay friendly listed
it was nt in the least ,so we checked out and found better for cheaper
noisy neighbour of Scotlands biggest bus station
a short walk further on will take you to a very nice holiday inn express which is cheaper, warmer and much less noisy.
authentic morrocan decor
an eclectic mix of typically berber north african morrocan fare downstairs in a proper aladins cage and upstairs ,also moorishly decorated but with a great indian menu .the lamb rogan josh is a sumptious feast on the best garlic bread ever made and served to man. good staff.
billy connelly entertains robin williams here
as Edinburgh cant seem to produce a good curry house. this is one of the tastiest restaurants in the country as well as one of the oldest indians in the u.k. miss it and you will missout lamb rogan josh to die for and good discounts for the international travellers staying at www.glasgowhostels.com .good food at its best.
better during day than at night.
handy for the city centre and has a good if older regular crowd music is old
excellent moderately priced lunches and breakfasts
This along with the Russian tea house is a very popular place for artists and students to hang out during the day .has good sized exhibition space ,mainly local artists and visiting sabbatical ones.excellent alfresco area with wifi
budget,great regulars and staff
Has a mix of twins, triples and some cheaper mixed dorm {frat house rooms} and is very popular with the weekend crowds whoi flock to the city from all over to go to a gig or nightclub. good sized lockers ,bring your own padlocks .no curfew. Great location.students, international travellers and a fun niche.
very welcoming and central
a plush and lush family run b@b. It was fun and had a distinctly uninstitutional feel
