Yarda Ramesh, 46. I love to travel whenever I can. It's the only way I get to relax, since I own and manage a restaurant (Jägerhaus in the French Quarter). I'm a fan of good movies, theatre plays (@La Petit Theatre, Le Chat Noir), concerts (whether it's Lady Gaga or Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra), reading, staying fit (I'm a ski bunny, like to run, and work out), discovering new places. I've lived in Czech Republic, then shortly in Germany and now in fabulous New Orleans, LA
Fun neighborhood Marigny bar
I've been here several times, because the bartender JR was on my bowling team. It's a great place to hang out with the locals. JR is a wonderful bartender. I do like the artwork on the wall. It is an unexpected touch to an otherwise usual bar decor. It helps to know someone here or to come with a friend, but everyone is very friendly even if you don't know someone.
The only German restaurant in New Orleans
Great place to go if you get tired of French, creole, and cajun food. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. It's a coffee shop as well, serving Italian Lavazza coffee and pastries.
A breath of freshness in the Quarter bar scene
This club has an upscale feeling - lounge sofas, cocktails served in glass, bartenders dressed up. Perfect place to chill with friends, go on a date, or relax after work (it's popular among service industry). They recently added tapas-style dishes during late hours - nice alternative to junk food late at night.
