If you get tired of seafood and really just want to sink your teeth into a burger and keep drinking, this is the place. Burger toppings range from the mild to wild to wtf (peanut butter? caviar?)? served with a huge baked potato or salad. They also have great gumbo. Bartender Erica is awesome and gay-friendly. They deliver too.

Gay owned, and some of the cutest waiters and bus boys anyplace. Crepes are amazing. Portions are huge. You'll get to know your neighboring diners. There will probably be a line out the door, but it's always worth the wait.

Great Greasy Breakfasts and Lunches. Sit at the counter so you can watch the cook and the hubcaps. Don't be in a hurry. Expect attitude, but don't give it.

This is my home away from home in New Orleans. Cute, friendly -- but always with a hand out -- boys on the bar. The dancers are young, the favored customers are middle-aged. Yeah, it's cheap, tacky and trashy. But isn't that what you are looking for?
