Inconsiderate owner ruined my stay, loud bar nearby

My first mistake I made was prepaying for the hotel for my week stay, January 9 - 16, 2012. When I was checking in to the hotel, John, the owner, told me in a very condescending way, to "RELAX" when I politely asked for some information. When I went to eat a continental breakfast the first two days I was staying there, I partially opened the blinds in the dining area because I wanted a little light during my breakfast. The owner on both occasions and without explanation just closed the blinds. I think there was one or two other hotel guests there at that time and neither were bothered by the blinds being opened a bit. I spent most of the other mornings eating in the courtyard and told the owner why I was, I believe he opened the blinds a bit on one occasion after that. I also asked the owner for a blanket after my first night because I got really cold. The owner told me to use the bed cover. I told him the bed cover was rough and a blanket would be more comfortable. John never gave me a blanket. One morning the owner promised to serve breakfast early because three of us were going on a early morning tour that the owner had booked. The owner didn't open up early as he had promised and then when he did, I had to wait for him to serve himself breakfast first, dishing up a large bowl of fruit one spoonful at a time, unconcerned that we were in a rush and keeping me from being able to finish my breakfast before the tour. The owner also conducted his business meetings in the courtyard, in front of my room, making it difficult for me to enjoy the quiet. There is also a loud bar nearby and you can hear the music over the fountains in the courtyard. The owner suggested I go to a spa that was under construction and was a total rip off. The fumes got so bad, I decided to leave. The owner refused to take a written request that I had made one morning, telling me in a condescending way to give it to him later. The owner also trashed a gay hotel in Puerto Vallarta saying that he was told that the sheets were stained. I stayed ended up staying at that hotel for a week, didn't have stained sheets, and had a great time. The room was nice but the shower door kept coming off the track and you had to move the television and cable box separately because they were on separate shelves. Overall my biggest complaint was that the that the owner seemed to be more concerned about his own happiness than his guests. Serving himself breakfast first, closing the blinds because he wanted the blinds closed because he was eating with the guests and sometimes monopolizing the conversation, and conducting his business in the courtyard. I wish I would have stayed somewhere else.
