Had an excellent B'fast here with me mate. We shared a huge omelet with fixin's. Our table-mates, with a dog, were offered bacon. The guy says "YES!". She says "It's not for you." Hee hee hee!

Stonewall Bar/Club in New York

Not a bad place, but a weird mix of people. Nice bartenders. Met one really nice older guy once who layed out how it looked in 1969 so I will always hold this one dear.
Pieces Bar/Club in New York

I like the cheap drinks. Threw up more than once from the Sunday LIT fest. Always a little afraid of the clientelle.
Julius' Bar/Club in New York

One of NYs oldest bars, if not the oldest. Older crowd, but they have the best and biggest bar burgers in NY. It's always a must stop when visiting the West Village.
Phoenix Bar/Club in New York

Weird mix of old and young. Lots of drunk (barely over 21) kids. Great pick up joint.

Although the 2-4-1 is a good deal the bartender at happy hour is oblivious. Still, they have good shows later at night and a pretty friendly 40something crowd.

This place has a cool happy hour, excellent DJs, and great shows. PLUS, they change the decor every month or two completely changing the feel of the place and making it feel like a brand new venue. The bartenders are also nice to look at. Good place to meet new friends too.

I'm a guy and we went for brunch. It's a lesbian owned and run bar/restaurant/club. We were warmly welcomed, the food was fabulous, and the service was top class. They do a brunch spread. All you can eat. The made to order omelet was the best I have ever had. I mean EVER. They also have lots of other food for the taking including bacon, sausage, pasta dishes, chicken, and a fabulous salad area. About $12. Awesome.

The twink who was working the Saturday waiter shift got into a BIG fight withe bartender. Put on his coat. Called the manager. Bitched out the bartender. It was entertaining, but SOOOO unprofessional. He deserves to be fired. I won't be going back there.
