I get around -- been to most major US cities at one time or another. But as a gay man, I love NYC, and I can't imagine living or working anywhere else. My mate and I eat out often, see theatre and go to circuit events, and generally enjoy what this city has to offer.

This is a bar I return to time and time again. It's in a good location. I can hang out for a few hours or meet friends there for a drink before going elsewhere. It can get busy on weekends or on holidays, but but the door guys usually do a pretty good job of keeping it comfortable. The crowd has changed a little over the years with fewer "Chelsea Boys" and more "regular" types. But the bartenders are still the hottest anywhere... ;)
