S4 "Station 4" Bar/Club in Dallas

A great, modern and huge venue - unfortunately it attracts all the twinks, underage kids & full-face make up gays. Horrible. On special events like Halloween it may be worth going because the crowd is more mixed but then they hike up the price so much and rip us off !

Sunday afternoon/early evening they play retro TV shows and music. The rest of the time it is just another gay bar. One bad point is the horrible layout - if it gets busy you literally get trapped inside because of all the people.

Just like any other leather bar you find anywhere. Nothing special. The type of crowd where you look but don't touch.

Nice bar, good layout and they do try their best to provide varying styles of entertainment. Unfortunately it mainly attracts a crowd which is young, immature twinks with big attitude and way too much mascara and lip gloss. Yuk !
Zippers Bar/Club in Dallas

Probably the most racially diverse of all the Dallas gay bars. A good mixture of ages too. The strippers are a good mix of different types but the endless hip-hop music they play drives me insane. Would be better if they mixed the music more.

I like the venue/layout but I am always amazed how they make any money. I have only ever seen the bar busy on New Year's Eve and that was because there was no cover charge. Generally a more mature crowd - not too many twinks thankfully.

This is the best mix of ages in Dallas. Almost always the busiest bar. They don't mix the music much though - virtually the same songs in the same order every night which is tiresome.
