Probably funner for couples

I visited in January 2011, took a solo trip to FtL, mostly to unplug from a very stressful job. The staff was courteous, my room was nice. It was a quiet atmosphere which I needed a lot. The accompanying spa does excellent work but is pricey, at least for my midwestern roots. I believe that couple or group travelers probably enjoy themselves more than the solo traveler does. I suggested that the management offer some sort of sign-up sheet for travelers interested in getting together for meals out or sightseeing activities. VERY LIMITED parking.
