There are a lot of bars in New Orleans and they are all basically alike, however the 700 Club is really an exception. The entire staff is so friendly and hospitable. The owner, Matt really knows how to run a business. Actually he is one of the best owners of any in the country He KNOWS how to keep customers coming back again and again. The customers are also very friendly and people there ACTUALLY TALK to each other !!! It is two blocks from Bourbon St. so the neighborhood is rather quiet which is a good thing. It is a VERY clean bar and the drinks are very reasonably priced. We were in NOLA for a few days and can't wait to return to this bar. We won't even waste our time going to the other bars. THANKS to the owner for having such a great bar !

We travel from coast to coast and we were absolutely ASTOUNDED with this new gay bar in Denver. Located on South Broadway at 1446 South Broadway. You enter thru a lovely patio which is non smoking and enter the lounge. There is a long bar to your left with no stools. You get your drink there and then walk into the rest of the bar which is like walking into someone's living room with wingback chairs, upholstered sofas, over 20 chandeliers, mirrors, frames and lots of artwork. They have not one but 2 Grand pianos. They have about 6 large rooms on two levels plus a two room antiques shop. There is a huge outside back patio for smokers. We were there 3 times and it is always packed with interesting people WHO WANT TO TALK to other people. If you are into leather, cowboy drag, disco, etc. then this is NOT the bar for you. Actually this is one of the 3 most elegant bars in the country. Do check their website and look at the photos of their interior on there. Why can't more gay bars be like this?

We had their Saturday "Drag Brunch" today and it was utterly wonderful. Our server was fun and campy and made everybody in the entire establishment get "with it" and everyone had a great time. We ordered the Eggs Florentine which was one of the best prepared that have every had and also ordered the Breakfast Burrito which was tremendous. This is NOT bar food, but rather fine dining. We HIGHLY recommend you try their Saturday and Sunday "Drag Brunches.

Unfortunately, we cannot give this restaurant any more than a one star rating. We really enjoy all of the other Hamburger Mary's that we have been to around the country.
