Bars & ClubsStarted Out Great, but It's No GoodCrowd: The crowd was generally alright, but I didn't feel a connection with most people in there during the day. Nearly everyone acted like they were too good to interact with other patrons, but at least Lori connected with me and everyone else. At night, different crowd, and they connected well with others. The Drinks: The drinks were always good no matter what you ordered. Those 2 ladies knew how to make anything you asked for. Cleanliness: It was clean as it could be for an older building. I didn't have an issue with it. Music: The music was always great when I went there. I had many great nights there, especially with the band "Venus Demars and All The Pretty Horses" Atmosphere: At night, it was great... especially down in the basement... my favorite part of the bar, but I was sad on the nights it had to be closed (because Lori was the only one there). That was definitely the best part, though... that basement bar. The Scoop: At first, I enjoyed going there after performing at a then popular gay bar not too far away. I enjoyed the perfectly dim/dark lighting, the pool table, the air hockey table, the Jukebox, and the entertainment from the then awesome Lori. However, as time passed, her behavior had been erratic, and I stopped going when I discontinued my friendship with someone closely connected to the bar (a very mentally off person,), when Lori mistreated a friend of mine, and then there was the shooting. I wasn't there that night, but found out about it later. Essentially, she kept the debit card of one of my friends, saying she gave it back (but in reality, she never did). That friend only had 1 drink, Lori... had many. She basically cussed my friend out and toss her out of the bar. As the owner and operator of a bar, it's unprofessional to get so drunk that it impacts your ability to function properly, handling your business. I was also the witness (and chased after) a purse robber, and on another night I wasn't there... there was a shooting outside the club. There was just too much drama and crime there for me to even consider going back. I have plenty of options nationwide when it comes to clubbing, so I am okay with never going back there ever again. Thanks!
