Restaurants in New YorkAnd you thought Krispy Kreme was good!Doughnut nirvana has arrived at the Chelsea Hotel. Second NYC location for Mark Isreal's mini-chain. You'll enjoy the doughnut pillow wall hangings and if you're like us you'll be blown away by doughnuts such as peanut butter & jelly and coconut cream--simply orgasmic!

Restaurants in New YorkTop Quality Gelato Without the AttitudeNot only is L'Arte del Gelato some of the best gelato in NYC, it is moderately priced for Manhattan. They are a bit skimpy at the Chelsea Market location and not as friendly. The servers at the W Village location are often cute and polite.

Restaurants in New YorkSuper Tasty Cambodian Sandwich Anyone?Try the Duroc Pulled Pork sandwich here just once and you'll be hooked. This small shop with a few stools upstairs serves six "classic" sandwiches like Hoisin Veal Meatballs and Coconut Tiger Shrimp plus 4 or 5 seasonal specials. With a refreshing watermelon juice or a Virgil's Root Beer you have a great meal for less than13 bucks! For dessert, meet a cute NYU student as you wait ;-)

Restaurants in New YorkBest pizza this side of Vesuvius!Authentic Neapolitan-style pizza in the West Village. They don't take reservations, but go at around 2:45 and there shouldn't be a problem. They close at 3:30 and reopen for dinner at 5pm. Ask for the Burrata pizza special--it really will change your life!

GDnyc answered "ok im in san fran wensday for 2weeks and hav no idea wer to go wat to do....Help?? :)"Hi, I am not an SF local, but we visit quite often as my husband's brother lives there with his partner. I would recommend the following: @The Castro Theatre for any film you may enjoy. @Beach Blanket Babylon for a classic SF treat! breakfast at @Chloe's (no wait on weekdays) 1399 Church St (26th St) Opens 8am. @Bi-Rite Creamery for fantastic ice cream. @Cowgirl Creamery at @Ferry Building if you love cheese. San Francisco is a great city, I'm sure you'll have a blast. Ciao! Gerard

GDnyc answered "I have an out of town guest coming that wants to go to the Tenement Museum but I don't know the..."Just a couple blocks north on 84 Stanton Street is @The Meatball Shop. They serve great veggie meatballs in addition to pork, beef, or chicken. They always have a daily special meatball and sauce as well as vegetable side dish. Go at an off hour or stop by and put your name & cell number on their list, take a stroll around the neighborhood and they'll call when your table is ready.

Restaurants in New YorkFabulous Italian in Theater DistrictWe can certainly recommend the veal/raisin-filled ravioli with butter, pancetta, and sage as either an appetizer or entree. The fennel soup was also delicious. The service was friendly and efficient at this clean design restaurant near the Broadway theaters.
