Matt McKillop and Owen Taylor devised DeepCitySoul out of their necessity and love for quality house music, which has subsequently provided them the platform to associate with some of the most prolific artists and DJs around today. Influenced primarily by Masters at Work,Llorca, Dennis Ferrer, Kerri Chandler and Blaze, the DeepCitySoul productions deliver a distinctive sound, astutely blending aspects of soul and jazz with exceptional house and funk rhythms. They recieve regular support from the likes of Tony Humphries, Miguel Migs and Dimitri from Paris. Being a relatively fresh brand in the house music scene, the DeepCitySoul discography already includes releases and remixes on Universe Media, Universe City, ToolRoom, Pacha Multimedia, Moneypennys Music , LoveHouse Records, Further Recordings and Citrus.
