Recently started dating a great guy, and we're going to Austin for a weekend... it will be our first weekend getaway together, and we picked Austin because it seemed like a fun and central place for us both to travel to. Trouble is, neither of us knows Austin... first time there! We only have one full day there, and I really want it to be the perfect "date" day; fun, exciting, relaxing, romantic... just that "perfect day" thing. Yeah, I got the butterflies for this guy :) We're both bear types, like music, wine, food (shocker), art, shopping, and anything quirky or random. Definitely Champagne tastes on a beer budget. ANY advice would be appreciated... your idea of the perfect Austin day, a recommendation of a restaurant or romantic spot, etc. I just don't want to get there and not have a clue what to do! Thank you!!
