Be Bar Bar/Club in Washington DC

Well first off some kid standing next to us decided to throw up all over the floor - he said he did too much meth that night...
The bartenders were too busy trying to flex in their undies that they failed to actually serve drinks.
The DJ (Jason) was pretty typical and lame. Played hex-hector remixes and pawned them off as his own.
All in all not my recommendation. Plus a guy was beaten to death a few months back trying to go to the bar (says something about the area).

As many stated already - very rude staff, typical snotty gay circuit crowd, outrageously over priced and down right way too crowded. Rough area too - let's just say if your parking a few blocks away or even 50 feet away your going to be clutching your wallet and be on alert.
Only thing I actually like about the place is the bar area with the projection decor is pretty cool looking but still not worth going.

Friendly people, great atmosphere and honestly pretty diverse.
Upstairs does some fun "bartender karaoke" which can actually be fun and entertaining. Definitely gets the crowd going and keeps everyone entertained. I'm not huge on country music but some strange reason I favor it a lot more than I do some 17 minute remix of Britney Spears which only seems to satisfy those on drugs.

I like this place. Kind of reminds of a cool bar in new orleans or someplace. A great jeans and t-shirt place to kick back and have some drinks with friends. Diverse crowd too, so a lot of fun to people watch - anywhere from a drag queen to a stripper to a leather guy.

I went with some friends last week for the first time and I wish I videotaped for youtube. It was hilarious. Very skinny young boys prancing around like they are gods gift to everyone there, while the older (usually over 50) guys chase around them buying them anything in site in hopes of being able to take them home. No joke - we were counting and laughing so hard. I think we found where NAMBLA is holding its meetings. haha
We were actually standing at the bar and this little pre-madonna literally nudge my friend out of the way and looked up at my friend and said in the most flamboyant tone - "Diva present!". We almost died in laughter after he said it and his "daddy" friend runs up to buy this under 21 year old an alcohol drink.
