63 / M Racine, WI
Older, chubby guy, with a great personality. Prefer the company of guys in late 20's and 30's, but will make expecptions based on personality. I respect friendship over sex, and would never would resort to being the pushy old troll in a bar trying to force unwanted attetion.
Even if I could afford to be a Sugar Daddy would not want to be with someone I had to buy!
When I go out to a bar, it is to have fun and make friends, if anything else develops, it is a bonus.

Blue Genes Bar/Club in Nashville

We stopped there on our over night on the way to Atlanta. Got there about 11 PM, on a Tuesday night, not very crowded but had a nice time.
Turned out the owner was from my home town of Racine, and then the guy sitting next to me was from Racine originally also. So there were probably more people from Racine in that bar at that time, then there would have been in Racine's only gay bar, Jodee's.
Would defnitely go to again.

Had a great time watching the dancers, great drinks at reasonable prices. They even came around with some complimentary shots.
Defnitely will go there again on my next trip to Atlanta.

I was dragged out of BJ's, where I had fallen madly in lust with this HOT go go boy, Chris!
To go to this HOT new Country % Western Bar (OK, maybe some nice eye candy at least, with some hot cowboys), THE WILD MUSTANG!
It was after 9 PM, so was charged an $8 cover charge (which would have been much more well spent stuffing Chris's underwear). Only to find out that Friday's are Latino Night (OK,I love HOT Latino Men). But alas it was a fund raiser drag show (albiet some prettty high tech acts) but defnitely not what I was in the mood for. $3.50 for a cranberry & sour (no booze) is a little pricy too!
I agree with the other reviewer, make up your mind! Enter at your own risk!

Sitting out on the patio, street side, after the drag races at Burkhart's on Easter Sunday, was the perfect way to end the day.
I had the chicken kabob which was great.
And our waiter, Ricky, was attentive, and cute to boot!

The dancers will never be seen on "So You Think You Can Dance"... but the majority are great looking, friendly (even if you don't tip a whole lot), who like having fun, and making a few bucks doing it. There was one dancer from Brazil, Chris, on Friday night, who had a smile that just made me melt. Came back to see him again Saturday, but, got there after 11 and the boys had already finished dancing. Came back again Sunday night, and sadly no Chris again, but, had a great time making friends with Filipe and a couple of the other dancers. Let me take their pics, and din't even expect tips for it.
Sunday nights the bartenders have to tend bar in their underwear too!
I saw quite a few guys in their early 30's and on up, defnitely not a bar for twinks. But some really HOT male customers too, not all old trolls, like someone seemed to imply.
Burkhart's Bar/Club in Atlanta

I am an older (63) year old who visited a 25 and 32 year old gay couple who recently moved from Wisconsin to Atlanta, and was also accompanied by a 35 year old friend also from Wisconsin.
We first stopped at a little bar accross the parking lot, and was not impressed by that bar at all. The music seemed so loud in the parking lot from Burkhart's that I was reluctant to go in. Thank God they talked me in to it. They had karoke that night, and what a blast, and some very good talent too! We sat upstairs which has a great vantage point of the bar and the parking lot. Great mix of young and old alike, and something which is sorely lacking in the Milwaukee bar scene; everyone was having fun! The bartenders, the performers, the clients; one of the best nights out I have had in a long, long time, and I didn't even get lucky (but some of the guys I came with did).
Over our week in Atlanta we returned there 4 more times, twice to eat (food was great, and very reasonably priced). Our last day being Easter Sunday for the "drag races". I'm sure I will be returning often to visit my friends in Atlanta, and you can bet, Burkhart's will be my home base.
