Look Restaurant in Palm Springs
Posted: October 01, 2009 - Visited: September 2009
I ordered the Look salad for lunch and it was very good. Not outstanding, but very good. Outdoor dining is great for men watching on the super gay Andreas Road. I would definitely go back for the LOOKing.
Blame it on Midnight Bar & Grill Restaurant in Palm Springs

I've been going to Blame for years for special ocasions. The food is usually very good. Last weekend I ate here and ordered the pork and it was dry and overcooked. Not up to the usual. Service was not as good either. I will still go back, but it wasn't as good as it used to be.
El Paseo Shopping District Shop in Palm Springs

If you want to shop at designer stores, this is the only place to do it in the desert. There is a big indoor shopping mall right across Highway 111, but they don't have the really nice stores like El Paseo. This is the desert version of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. It's very nice and I like going here. Update Sep 2009, a few stores closed here because of the week economy.
All Worlds Resort Hotel in Palm Springs
Posted: September 30, 2009 - Visited: May 2009
I am a local guy. I used to go to All Worlds on day passes, until earlier this year when an out-of-town friend asked me to go with him for a weekend. I noticed a couple years ago that the new management started installing more cameras around the property but I didn't think anything about it. This time my friend starting counting the cameras and there are really a lot of them. It was actually creepy knowing that we were being watched everywhere we were. It made us uncomfortable. We would not want to go back again. Hard to believe that anyone would give this place a 5-star rating unless they enjoy having all their activities filmed. Be wary of the 5 star reviews.
The Barracks Bar/Club in Palm Springs

If you are a leather daddy, this is your place in Palm Springs. Also, if you are into leather daddies, try it here. If you are in your 30s like me, and you walk out to that back patio area at night, get ready to get groped! I'm not saying that I minded though.
Koffi Restaurant in Palm Springs

Koffi is way better than Starbucks. Great atmosphere and great coffee. And now there is a second location on East Palm Canyon.
Kaiser Grille Restaurant in Palm Springs

I live in the area and I like to bring out-of-town visitors here for lunch. Good food and great sightseeing when you sit outside on Palm Canyon. Never been here for dinner, but it looks overpriced.
Wang's In The Desert Restaurant in Palm Springs

This is a nice place with good service and really good food. Plus I've always liked the name.
Shame on the Moon Restaurant in Palm Springs
Posted: June 07, 2009 - Visited: May 2009
I live in the area, and I took an out-of-town visitor to Shame on the Moon for a special romantic dinner. My friends told me to eat in the Garden Room, which we did. The atmosphere was private and romantic and sexy. Our waiter was gay, which was a big plus to us. The food was excellent - well prepared and delicious. Entree prices were in the $20s. I would definitely recommend Shame on the Moon for a nice romantic evening.
Hamburger Mary's Restaurant in Palm Springs

The burgers are great here. That's all I've ever tried. The atmosphere is fun and the service is fine. Most of the customers are gay, of course.
CCBC Resort Hotel Hotel in Palm Springs
Posted: September 06, 2008 - Visited: July 2008
I'm a local guy and I've been here quite a few times on day passes. The action can be lots of fun, particularly during special events. I stayed over one night, and I have to say that the room I had was pretty dumpy! The employees seemed aloof, actually bordering on giving attitude, which is the reason for my mediocre rating. The outdoor action was hot, however.
Inn Exile Hotel in Palm Springs
Posted: September 06, 2008 - Visited: August 2008
I live in the Palm Springs area and this is my favorite gay resort. Too bad they don't sell night passes. (I hate to admit that I've sneaked in the back gate a few times.) The resort across the street does sell night passes, but the action is not even close to Inn Exile's. This is definitely my top pick! And by the way, the average age of the guys who stay here is usually 30 to 40.
El Mirasol Villas Hotel in Palm Springs

The architectural style is interesting. My room was clean, and so were the grounds. This is probably a good choice for more mature travelers, but it was just too quiet for me.
Camp Palm Springs Hotel in Palm Springs
Posted: September 06, 2008 - Visited: July 2008
The name says it all. DO NOT expect luxury rooms at Camp Palm Springs. The place is somewhat run down and dirty, but dirty can also be a good thing! This property has a dark room where the fun is filthy - - now that's MY kind of dirty!
