University Place Conference Center & Hotel Hotel in Indianapolis
***** A Hidden Gem
First to Review - June 16, 2007
The UPCH was just recently renovated. The rooms are fantastic! Very modern and clean. Flat screen TVs in all the rooms. The decor is in my opinion very trendy west coast style. The hotel is very relaxed, yet classy. The beds and linens are comfortable. The restaurant and bar are as well relaxed and the food is wonderful. The chef uses free range meets and organic foods. They have excellent conference space and meeting rooms. They are very accommodating and have shuttle service. The hotel is on the IUPUI campus and is minutes away from all of the action of downtown Indianapolis. LGBT friendly.

English Ivy's Restaurant in Indianapolis
***** English Ivy's
First to Review - June 16, 2007
Whether you're interested in grabbing a beer after work or grabbing a bite to eat after the bars close, this popular bar and restaurant will take care of all your drinking and dining needs. Located downtown in the historic St. Joseph neighborhood, this full-service bar is as well-known for its menu as for its extensive lineup of drinks. English Ivy's eclectic menu consists of pub and Americana fare with steaks, chicken, seafood, pastas, salads, sandwiches and pizzas headlining the savory selections. English Ivy's has dozens of domestic and import beers to choose from, along with a surprising selection of red and white wines. Daily lunch and dinner specials draw a nice crowd, including kids who are served in a separate dining room, but it's the late-night menu that brings the most attention. Mozzarella sticks, breaded mushrooms and pork tenderloin sandwiches are all part of the evening fare, served Monday through Saturday until 2AM.

Varsity Lounge Restaurant in Indianapolis
***** Oldest Gay Bar in Indiana
First to Review - June 15, 2007
It's a hole in the wall but if you like good burgers and fries you'll dig this place. A mix of every walk of life comes through the door. Afordable drinks and good cold beer. It's the oldest gay bar in the state. You can still get carry out liquor. Not commen anywhere anymore. If you like people watching, greasy food that's good you will love this place. They even have a bruncg buffet on Sundays.
