Nice little bar with a friendly staff and friendly patrons where someone is bound to strike up a conversation if you're sitting there alone. They have one pool table, no dancefloor tho that doesn't stop anyone if the mood strikes them.

If you're a woman, this is pretty much the only lesbian bar in the Burgh. Its dark. Its dirty. But it usually is a great time (unless its a night for lesbian drama!) Big FREE parking lot, two pool tables, a leather bar downstairs for the guys, and 2 floors basically overrun by the women. The upstairs dancefloor gets JAMMED and the music is usually HOT... but so is the upstairs in the summer cause I don't think that place has air conditioning! So be prepared to sweat! The staff is wonderful! Fast, friendly so you're not waiting thru your favorite song for a drink. The crowd is mostly younger tho there are a few of us older lesbians around who appreciate today's music and dance.

We're always looking for a new nice gay bar to meet with friends and enjoy a fun evening so we thought we'd check out the Cattivo. The bar is nice with pool tables and small dancefloor BUT ... doncha hate the buts? ... if the place ever got crowded, finding parking could be an all night adventure AND in all honesty, the music was old ... and got old to listen to rather quick. When we requested more modern music, the DJ told us No Hip Hop Ever ...Ok we could live with that .. but NO TOP 40!?!?! Come on! I may be in my mid 40's and my partner in her mid 30's but I don't want to relive my high school (or younger) years when I'm out. And oldie now and then is Ok but all night? All the time? No thanks. We'll take our money elsewhere.
