Galangal Thai Fushion-Mmmm Great
This was my first time at this new restaurant that just opened. My husband and I went for Valentines Day dinner. The food was delicious...mmmm good. We had the Coconut Milk soup and the Won Ton Soup as an appetizer. We had the Mango Salad which was to die for. For the Main Course we had the Hero Pad Thai (Great) and the Lamb Curry....(Oh so tender). For the dessert we had the Creme Brulee and the Mango Mousse. Wow. We also tried the Mango Sticky Rice Dessert in the shape of a heart for Valentine's Day. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. The interior is beautifully decorated and very comfortable to eat and relax with friends. It is just one block south of King Street East and one block west of Church Street. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai and Fusion.
Retro Sundays
The best night at Zippers is Sundays for the Retro music of the 70's, 80's. Avoid on long weekends as the line up is too long and the place gets way too packed.

Johnny G's for Breakfast / Brunch
This is a really reasonably priced restaurant( most menu items under $10) for Breakfast or Brunch on Parliament Street. Greek Owned. Not the fanciest interior, but the staff are great. The food is good. Close enough to the gay village in Cabbagetown.
