Amatus57 answered "Hi! My partner and I are spending a few days in DC the week between Christmas and New Year's. ..."Check out Union Station it fun this time of the year. Good food and it nice just to walk around and check out the shops. A nice bar to check out is Fab Lounge at the corner of Connecticut and Florida Ave. Have a fun time while you are here in DC.
