Swish Edition: A Gay Adventure to Start The Year

Post by GayCities Washington, DC, editor Scott Wallis

The first episode of 2011 finds  me, Dale, Jason getting back together in our secret underground studio after a week off for the holidays. We share tales of merriment, celebration and New Year’s Eve debauchery at Asbury Park, NJ’s Paradise Club.

Then Dale & I tell you about our overnight trip to New York City’s Barracuda Lounge for a Sherry Vine video premiere; two new gay bars that just opened here in Washington, DC (So Addictive Lounge & Rendezvous Micro Lounge), and explain why Xbox 360 Kinect ROCKS the video game world. With all due respect, we do rag on Elton John’s new kid, Oprah’s new cable channel, and tell you why you might want to think twice before you go spend money at Chick-fil-A.

NYC's Barracuda Lounge

And that’s not all!

Without any embarrassment, we give hands-on product reviews of the FleshJack Jack Sodas (as seen in the ad below) we received during last month’s video Christmas Special, now that we’ve had a chance to test them out. And of course we just had to talk about James Franco’s masturbation addiction; why Hanes underwear on redneck bartenders turns on Dale; and we encourage you to go see the clips of Dale & I doing the Cinnamon Challenge and of Cher on a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show. It’s all good.

All that and the top news stories from Metro Weekly magazine’s Sean Bugg.

Listen to Episode 115. We call it “A Gay Adventure,” mostly because we don’t have a better title. You can get the audio episode free from iTunes or stream or download the audio from the picture, below.
