About Jeffrey James Keyes

Jeffrey James Keyes is a New York-based writer and photographer. He grew up staring at bright yellow "Escape to Wisconsin" bumper stickers on long road trips throughout the North Woods. After a stint as co-editor of his high school creative writing magazine he dashed off to Germany, Guatemala, St. Lucia, England, France, Holland, Belgium, Mexico, Italy, Hungry, Canada, & Austria all before he could legally nurse a proper Gin & Tonic. Craving nightlife and chorus boys, he checked into New York City in the late 90's and set up shop. He just completed the Columbia University's MFA writing program (smarty pants) and has written for Instinct, Metrosource, The Out Traveler, Playbill.com, Theatre Today, GayWired, GayGadget and is featured in Stage This, Too!, and Italy From a Backpack.
