Religious holidays aren’t necessary high on the list of things to celebrate in San Francisco, but not many can say no to a hunky Jesus clad in nothing more than a loin cloth. Or, a Santa suit, donned by one contestant at this year’s event in Golden Gate Park’s Hellman Hollow (because Dolores Park is mostly bulldozed at the moment).
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence preached to a crowd of more than a thousand people, most of them high in celebration of another important holiday–4/20. This year’s dual celebration was much more dry than last year’s, although we never mind a bit of wet clothing.
