PHOTOS: The New Nasty Pig Opens In NYC

Nasty Pig Opening by JJ Keyes06

We snuck in just as partners David Lauterstein and Fred Kearney opened the doors to the new Nasty Pig at 259 West 19th Street in Chelsea. Nasty Pig has been a Chelsea staple over the past twenty years at a time when Chelsea is rapidly de-gaying.

DJ Corey Craig played hits in the back of the shop with nightlife darling Roze Black and an adorable crew of boys from the Nasty Pig team. They’re adding a 12 x 20 deck for shoppers to kick back. With shops in the area like Rainbows and Triangles, Camouflage, and Arcadia Spa & Home closing it’s great to see Nasty Pig replant its roots in the heart of Chelsea… just in time to stock up for the Black Party.
