Today dance-focused record label Astralwerks is releasing its second-annual Pride CD, Hey Boy, Hey Girl. While Kylie Minogue and Pet Shop Boys are in the label’s canon, Hey Boy ramps up the electro vibe with tracks from David Guetta, Air and Swedish House Mafia, among others.
A limited number of free Hey Boy, Hey Girl! CDs will be given away at various Pride events nationwide this summer, but you can also can download the album online at no cost. Tracks include Air’s “Seven Stars” (above), the Eric Prydz and Andreas Postl collaboration ”Mighty Love” (below), Guetta’s “Paris” and a live version of “Don’t Think” by Chemical Brothers.
“We are grateful for the support and love that this community has shown to our artists,” said Astralwerk’s GM Glenn Mendlinger, commenting on the fact the label has always worked closely with the LGBT community. “This is our way of saying thank you.”
