Earlier this month, Housing Works in Manhattan launched its tenth annual Braking the Cycle season with a party at the nonprofit’s bookstore in Soho. On April 17, partygoers registered for the charity cycling event, learned about Housing Work’s lifesaving services and cheered on other riders. Braking the Cycle is an intense three-day bike ride from Boston to New York City that starts on September 28. Proceeds from the ride benefit Housing Works’s efforts toward combating homelessness and AIDS.
We believe that LGBTQ+ people deserve safe vacations that allow them to be their authentic selves. That's why our City Guides aren't locked behind a paywall. Can you contribute today?
