It’s Valentine’s Day! And when all is said and done the big battle for equality is really about love—the right to love whom we choose and be loved in return.

Cupid’s in town, so we’re calling on friends and lovers of all sorts to submit photographs depicting good old-fashioned LGBT affection in the GayCities Valentine Kiss Photo Challenge.

How you interpret that is up to you: Lips need not be locked, and hand-holding and hugging certainly qualify. A mix of sweet and sexy is always a crowd-pleaser, but keep it clean, kids: nothing below the belt.

What’s in it for you? Well, one grand prize winner will receive a romantic vacation package for two to any JetBlue destination and Kimpton Hotel in the United States.

To qualify, photos must be submitted by February 21, 2012 at 11:59pm EST and include a brief description, including the place where they were taken. Entrants may submit up to ten photos, which will be voted on by other GayCities users based on technical quality and the emotion the snapshot evokes.
