Well it didn’t take long for NYC bar owners to swoop in and fill the liquid void left by the closure of the vaunted lesbian bar, Normandie Room, with the opening of a west coast version of their popular gay sports bar Gym. This latest addition to the otherwise youth-and-beauty driven West Hollywood scene is already being hyped as a success, with the Los Angeles Times calling the gay sports bar concept “groundbreaking for L.A.”
