GayCities is proud to announce a major new partnership with the National Equality March, Washington, D.C., October 10-11. We’ve worked together to create the official guide to the march, with events ranging from activist training sessions to the massive rally on the Washington Mall. But of course, as LGBT-ers coming together in one of the nation’s great gay cities, there will be plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle and have fun while we are creating change–so we put together an unofficial guide filled with hot parties, cool fundraisers and special club nights.

IF ANYONE WANTS THEIR VOICE TO BE HEARD THIS IS THE PLACE TO-DO-IT…LET THOSE RUM-DUMS IN WASHINGTON KNOW WERE WE STAND ON THIS…IF WERE NOT UNITED ON THIS WILL GET KNOW-WERE…GAY RIGHTS IS ALWAYS ON THE BACK-BURNER,..MAYBE NEXT YEAR OR THE NEXT YEAR…TIRED OF THE PROMISES PROMISES THAT ARE NEVER KEPT…I TELL YOU THAT’S ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR VOTE AND NOTHING ELSE…WELL ENOUGH IS ENOUGH…WE HAVE TO WAKE-UP & SMELL THE COFFEE IF ANYTHING IS TO BE DONE…THERE I SAID IT & DON’T REGRET-IT…
My partner and I are arriving on Thursday, the 8th. We would like to see as much of DC as possible on Friday. Does anyone know of a reputable tour guide who could spend the day with us?
Just another comment you know we keep putting these elected officials in office hoping & hoping maybe this time it’ll be different..but its always business as usual…wake up america…
overall, i think the march was a big success. it showed the naysayers like barney frank wrong. the youth of america were on display in vast numbers, and i see them leading us to a new generation of equality and fairness as they bring along their straight counterparts, who are much more progay and progay marriage than those in power today. the future is bright
