Our extremely talented yet modest New York Editor, JJ Keyes, wrote the screenplay for film that was shot by Studio Two L this summer in New York City and upstate. Trifon is based on Ivan S. Turgenev’s “The District Doctor” about a practitioner who becomes involved with a young patient. This period film, set in the early 1900’s, was directed by Turkish director Caner Ozgul, produced by Emre Emirgil and features Kyle Knauf, Magda Bendek, Amanda Broomell and Portia Racasi. The teaser just went live on youtube.com this week and is in post production. Congrats, JJ!
