Gay-only B&B, centrally located
The Copenhagen Rainbow has five rooms, so calls itself a "five-star" hotel. Seriously, even though it is only bed & breakfast and the hosts have day jobs too, personal service is the motto here. And with free wifi, laundry facilities and a guest kitchen, you get more than you do at a regular five-star hotel, and in a great central location too. Be careful about the address - it's FrederiksbErggade, not FrederiksbOrggade!

Tweetybird gave this placeSpartan decor befitting "Danish modern"This place is in a fantastic location, and caters to a totally gay & lesbian clientele. For people from other cultures, the simplicity, no-nonsense Danish style can seem quite sterile and cold. That's just the way it is. We have stayed with Klavs (pronounced Klaus) a couple of times. Just remember that Scandinavians are a bit more reserved and formal. Quite frankly-- they are the opposite of Italians. So don't expect the warm welcome you receive in Latin countries. It's not their style. The hosts go off to work each day, so you're on your own. But, the amenities are nice and much appreciated.
