What we say

12 room inn in a restaurant complex
The Commons is the B&B attached to the LEVEL restaurant. Walk through the restaurant's courtyard to find 12 rooms in an old fisherman's house.

this place feels like it has been run down for some time. my partner and i where given the wrong room to start with. the bathroom shelve was about to fall off the wall and anything we put on it would slide off. the t.v. ( 14" ) did not work, the a.c. unit was way to small for the room and was next to the bed,the bed was musty smelling, our door knob fell of the door and could never find any one for assistance. the place need some one to sink some $$ into it. great location but in need of some tlc.

May as well make it into a kennel. I don't know what I was thinking going back here. Musty, Moldy & old. Terrible towels, sheets, etc. Our bathroom amenities were replaced every day. I wish they would spend some of that money elsewhere. All of the informational literature in the lobby was from last year! What very little interaction that we had with the staff was pleasant, but again there wasn't much. The gentleman (Herbert?) that served us breakfast (yes, the exact same breakfast every day) was wonderful. I think the owner is in over his head. Many many things were overlooked.

***** "Recently Remodeled" -That's a joke

This place has no charm. When we checked in we had to hunt someone down to give us a key. When we arrived there was a huge stain on the bed spread. Yes it was soaked through. The cleaning people said it could not come out in the wash. They were wonderful when they were around. This place is only good if you have to bring your dog (they allow dogs). But beware the hall will smell like damp dog on cold days. They did not remodel. They painted and hung new pictures. The host in the front restaurant has attitude. Rumor has it they lost their executive chef and are suffering since.
