Built in 1899, Banting House experience begins even before you're greeted at the front door. The property is surrounded by trees and lush greenery. Guests have been known to forget they are smack in middle of downtown at this inn, which was ranked one of the ten best places to stay in Toronto.

didn't get along with the mgr….scott - also no outdoor lighting at all, when you park at night it can be creepy/ sort of a sketchy neighbourhood/ claims to have connection with dr. banting that invented insulin - not true - historically this property has nothing to do with Dr. FRederick Banting….house is ok but the neighbourhood can be dangerous
