Visiting San Francisco July 16 thru 19 2009

   My partner and I and a friend will be visiting San Francisco for the first time. In fact, this will be our first visit to California. We will be staying in the castro district. We would appreciate it very much if someone who is familiar with San Francisco could give us some ideas of bars, clubs and other attractions that might be of interest to us. We are well rounded people, so we could hang with the most prim and proper crowd to the most outrageous, scandalous and scary crowd. People are people to us. Thanks for your input.
