  1. So how is South Africa for gay visitors? I know that it is supposed to be the most gay-friendly country in Africa, but considering the competition (Zimbabwe) that's not saying too much. If hotel clerks or taxi cab drivers realize that you are a gay couple, does the treatment turn cold or nasty? Do the police target foreign gay visitors?

It seems like an amazing place to visit, but I need more reassurance that I won't be a target there.

  2. Good questions, especially considering the recent unrest over immigrants. Even (allegedly) immigrant-friendly and (allegedly) Gay-friendly Capetown is having its problems. I'd do some serious research!

  3. Hey. I'm a South African guy. Cape Town Pride is Great. The country is as safe as anywhere in the world. Main Cities are Gay Friendly, outlying areas (some) are conservaive.
