  1. Greetings all,

Me and My Husband of 12 years have been to NY before and are looking forward to returning in June for Pride. I am mid-30's he is 50+. We are no longer into noisy/cruisy clubs, rowdy people or drunken idiots. Been there, done that.

My question is this: Can someone recommend a nice lounge/pub type of place in the Village to simply have a drink and be able to hear each other, instead of the "thump thump" of the music where one has to scream to be heard? Or, do any of these types of places exist anymore?

I thank you in advance. Ty. :D

  3. A "quiet" bar in NY on Gay Pride would be like asking for a "quiet" Irish bar on St. Patrick's Day.
