Any Sunny and Warm Trip Suggestions?

   My partner and I will be celebrating our anniversary in January, and there's no better celebration than travel. We're both explorers and we've been to lots of places. We're fine with return visits, but we would also like to consider some new destinations. Our only requirement for our January trip is that it be to a sunny, warm location. I would love to hear other people's favorite warm weather destinations, and why you enjoyed yourself so much. Thanks!

   My favorite winter get-a-way is Marco Island..southern west coast of florida many return visits there..plenty of awesome restaurants & things to-do..

   Jerzy, thanks for that suggestion. I just Googled Marco Island, and it looks beautiful. Plus, we both love those Gulf waters--beautiful and warm.

   What a better time (January) than to come down to Australia! It's summer down here ( I live in Sydney) and it'll be warm and sunny all the time. And there's plenty to do here for gay travellers, as Syd is Australia's gayest city.

   Karl, that's a great suggestion. Your summer would be a wonderful time for us to visit Sydney. We've heard that there are lots of hot gay things to do, including bars and beaches. Some friends live there, and they have been trying to persuade us to visit for years, so maybe now is the time! Thanks so much for your suggestion.
