It's a little stuffy, but you usually can find great rates and it's an easy walk to the bars (you are already in the quarter). I'd pick this over a lot of the Canal Street options. </p> <p>The hotels along Canal are all pretty good - the typical business hotels. Friends have stayed at the <a href="http://neworleans.gaycities.com/hotels/10445-astor-crowne-plaza-hotel">Astor Crowne Plaza</a> twice and liked it (the rooms were nice enough). </p> <p>I've also stayed at the Westin, the Ritz Carlton and the <a href="http://neworleans.gaycities.com/hotels/10445-astor-crowne-plaza-hotel">Windsor Court</a> - all a bit on the pricy side, but I wanted to be a little pampered. ;) The Windsor Court and the Westin felt just a little too far from the action. </p> <p>And then there's tons of B&#38;Bs around - which gives you a better NOLA feel. </p> http://www.gaycities.com/forums/topic/new-orleanshalloween-25#post-170 Thu, 18 Sep 2008 00:34:20 +0000 aypapi 170@http://www.gaycities.com/forums/ <p>hi all, traveling to NOLA next week for the big party. looking for hotel suggestions bourbon/canal. looking forward to meet new friends, ttyl. </p>
