Unless you specifically want a circuit party atmosphere with a high cover charge, in any new city you explore, I would suggest going first to the actual gay bars, before going to the clubs that have a gay night once a week. Such is the case with Roxy. Your other options, depending on your taste, in Boston include: Club Cafe (large, full menu, videos, special events), Machine (dancing, pool, karaoke), Ramrod (above Machine), The Eagle (neighborhood bar), The Alley (bears) , Fritz (gay sports bar), and a few miles out of town (but extremely friendly) Pub 47 Central (dancing, karoake, keno, bar menu, all ages - in Lynn) or Paradise (strippers - in Cambridge).

Ha Ha... good one.
Speaking of Atlantic City, my lover and I are planning a get-away and are wondering if we should stay at Harrahs Casino Atlantic City? We were told that it is a great hotel, great casino, and the rates are fabulous. Or, are we better off at one of the Hotels at Atlanta Airport??
Can't wait to go and party like ROCK STARS!!

I AGREE SCREW ROXIES. They blow & not in a good way!! I hate that place.
I'd advise every bi, gay, gay friendly person to go elsewhere, they don't deserve the $8.00 per drink, or more that they charge just to treat you like crap.

Acting on the Gandhian principle of "being the change we wish to see in the world," in these interactive workshops we will explore how to create change in our lives and the world that is truly transformative, impacting ourselves & core societal practices and beliefs.

Saturday will focus on:
*How our culture functions, impacting our thinking & choices we make everyday
*Creating a "third-way" of social change, fully empowered by our values
*Building meaningful and lasting change in the world, with a culture where the needs of all life matter and are held with care
*Developing practical skills to "be the change"--bridging global vision with local action

Note: To support everyone's learning, we ask that you have 3+ hours of NVC training before attending Saturday's workshop; if you are new to NVC, please attend Friday night's program.

Hey everyone and anyone....avoid Roxy in Boston they are Homophopic.

Did you see thet nasty shit the Roxy management pulled last night? The used the word "faggot" at these 2 guys and told them "next time you come back bring your pink panties". I know some of you know what I'm talking about because there was about 15 of us around watching.

I know we're officially all set with The Roxy. We were reluctant to go from day 1 because of their history of treatment to our community. So, now we're all set.

NO ROXY SATURDAYS!

Please spread the word.
