John Mayer, super straight pop star, made news when he not only kissed a man at a gay bar but asserted that "if you are a man and haven't gone to a gay bar, you haven't really danced." Are gay places really more fun?

I am going through the process of dicovering that I might be gay? What kinds of experiences have other people had? How did you know for sure that you were gay? Me, I am not sure but, the signs are definately pointing in that direction!

hi all
Well this is my first post in this sweet forum. I’m 29 years old and I discover myself 2 years ago and I’m married. No one knows about me being a gay because I came from a very Conservative society. So at the begging I was fighting the gay feeling then I surrender to what I am and decided to enjoy my life. Even though I’m having affairs yet I’m enjoying it. Now the summer is coming and I need to travel with my wife and she is having no idea about me being a gay so any advice where to go and enjoy both life’s being married and gay life!

Thank you all
Yours
Tootti

Thanks so much to bullseye and Scott and others who took the time to photograph the events at the National Equality March, and then to share their pics with us. I wish I could have been at the march, but I was unable to be. It was great to see the number of people who attended, marching on behalf of all of us. What a wonderful set of photos! Maybe the most poignant was the interracial couple who held the sign pointing out that their marriage was illegal at one time also. Great pics! Thanks a lot!

OK, so I know the term "Pen Pal" is very last century but I am looking to correspond with gays and lesbians for mates. I live and work in Brighton (UK) which is apparently the gayest city in Europe. I travel a fair bit and particularly love going to the USA. Drop me a line if you are up for breaking the mould and re-launching the Pen Pal Phenomenon!

I'm not so good at this, I’m new to the united states but I just wanted to post my picturse to see what kind of responses I get. I realize I'm fairly attractive person but I don't really care so much for superficialities like looks (entirely). Personality is just as important to me.

This is my picture

http://texttherainbow.com/uploads_user/1000/243/0_1999.jpg

You can msg me as well.

I think I have good tastebut I'm open and don't like pretentious very much.

BTW. Please do not respond if you just want to have sex without get to know. I’m looking for people who like to talk and more sensual types. I want friends

Once upon a time there were four people named EVERYBODY,SOMEBODY,NOBODY @ ANYBODY. When there was an important job to be done. EVERYBODY was sure that SOMEBODY would do it. ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did it. When NOBODY did it, EVERYBODY got angry because it was ANYBODY'S job. EVERYBODY thought that SOMEBODY would do it, but NOBODY realized that NOBODY would do it. EVERYBODY thought that ANYBODY could do it, but NOBODY realized that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY, when NOBODY accused ANYBODY. So it ended up that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY when NOBODY did what ANYBODY could have done in the first place. Moral of the story: Be a team player and do your share-and help each other. THE WORLD WILL BE A BETTER PLACE.

I thought I'd share my travel/vacation plans for the next few months, I wonder what everyone else is doing?

So 2009 is turning out to a busy travel year for me. When booking a lot of my travel, I'm finding more availability and places that I normally couldn't stay at seem to be free. I'm traveling for work to London (Feb) and Toronto (May), but I'm most looking forward to my time off.

--March: Portland - long weekend - going up to see some friends who just moved there
--March: Puerto Vallarta - long weekend - going with a few friends for some fun in the sun
--April: Maybe europe? - 7-10 days - I'd like to do a big trip, but haven't decided where. maybe italy? or maybe rio?
--June: Provincetown - 5 days - we make an annual trip every year with friends. This year we are going earlier than usual.

So, what are your plans? And any suggestions of where I should go for a long trip?

I was disappointed to hear that American Airlines decided to charge $15 for every bag you check.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2004430827_americanbaggage22.html

I get that fuel costs are rising and they need to pay for it somehow, but this is bound to cause the worst kind of behavior. I travel a lot and most of the time I carry my bag on. But I'm also respectful and travel light - I have a small roller bag that easily fits in the overhead. Recently people have been carrying bigger and bigger bigs on and this fee will only make that worse. Can you imagine the 10 people in front of you each carrying gigantic bags and wondering why they can't make them fit - or worse yet, taking up all space.

Seems pretty silly - I don't mind paying a little more, but please American, make the fees cause the right kind of behavior.

What do you think?

My partner and I live in California and recently after 15 years together we got married.

We've been planning for a long time to start a family and we want our child(ren) to have all the benefits and protections that marriage brings. I want my child to know that their parents aren't "illegal" and aren't any less "real" than other families.

On November 4th, Proposition 8 can take away the right I already have. The right to marry. I'm shocked that you can change the constitution to take a right away from a person. It's unfair and wrong.

So for myself, my partner, and my family I'm doing everything I can to get the word out: Vote No on 8. (and yes, I'm voting no on 8 on election day too).

See: http://www.gaycities.com/marriage/
