I have Kim Zolciak in NYC on the 9th of December and would like to book her for a paid appearance that night. Her hit single "Tardy for the Party" is climbing up the charts and she has been performing in clubs all over. She will be in town to do the Wendy Williams Show that day and has space in her schedule for that evening! Anyone needing information please contact me at jennair4kz@live.com.

I've been getting some info on an event coming to Los Angeles in April, 2010 - Liberation 2010 Conference. It looks really promising ("an event dedicated to healing the world of homophobia ... the fear and hatred of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people."), but I don't see it in Events and I haven't heard anything down the pike. Here's the website: http://www.liberation2010.com/

Anyway, I would love to hear if anybody's heard anything about it, or if anyone is planning on going.

Hey guys. Want to give you guys an update about the Harbor Room. After having our vehicle hit, which also took it out of our lives; my partner David decided to quit that place. For his own safty. Seeing that it was hit so hard to have the passenger wheel pushed three feet up on the curb, it sent aclear message to be careful.
As of today, the bar is hardly open past eleven pm anymore. One of there long time bartenders has made it clear to have more cameras outside watching the street and linked directly to the police department. So my advice is that if yoou do want to go, go early, and leave after one or two drinks being very cautious of where you park as well.

It is a play comprised of interviews about the gay movement of the late 70's and Harvey's inspiration on them. It also is comprised of speeches that Harvey gave. It is a wonderful play and a very celebratory play embracing Harvey's life. Please if you are in the San Diego area, you should see this play, it will be amazing

Today, we lost a pop icon. Michael Jackson died today at UCLA of cardiac arrest. He was 50 years old. Michael rose to stardom from a child singer to an adult super star. He was well received all around the world for his unique style of music and dance. Even though Michael Jackson was well known for scandal and bazaar news, there is no doubt that he was arguably the biggest star who ever lived, and hugely talented. Even till this very day, his Thriller album remains the biggest selling album ever! It has sold over 50 million copies to date. I know that Michael's sudden death is a shock to most as it is with me. Let's show our support for Michael by sending our condolences to his children, his family and loved ones. Michael Jackson will be forever missed. And there will never be another talent like his. His star will never go dim. RIP

I used to live in Cleveland and went to many awesome gay bars in the 80's that were GREAT for dancing! Traxx, Legends, Isis. Anyone remember these? Even went to a bar called Twiggy's Place in the late-late 70's and early 80's, with my super-fake ID from the Jupiter Store ( I was like 15 and the ID claimed I was 23. Worked well! Lol!)
Coming for a visit and wondering where the best place to go is for dancing in Cleveland/Lakewood areas. Also just curious if anyone remembers those places ... I might know you! :)

BOB EGAN ENTERTAINMENT in association with ELEGANT DIAMOND PRODUCTIONS presents CAROL CHANNING: A CELEBRATION Starring Richard Skipper! Musical Direction by Jon Weber, with a five piece band and back-up singers. In this intimate evening with one of Broadway s greatest treasures, Skipper takes his audience back to a time of clean wholesome entertainment, featuring highlights from two of Channing' s greatest hits, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Hello Dolly! One performance only, July 5th, 2008 at 8:00 pm. Tim McLoone s Supper Club, 1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ. Reservations: (732) 774-1155.
http://www.RichardSkipper.com

According to Carol Channing, Richard's tribute is ". . . the first time ever I have been shown with such love, respect and polish. Richard Skipper is a true musical comedy star! He is fabulous as me!"
Copyright ©2008 Richard Skipper. All rights reserved.

Richard returns to Asbury Park by popular demand after performing as Carol Channing as Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly! at Asbury Park's historic Paramount Theatre in a special benefit performance for ReVision Theatre last year and Tim McLoone's SOLD OUT SHOW last August. Other recent highlights this year include a successful run at the Iguana VIP Lounge in NYC; REDEEMER EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH in The Bronx in a sold out show with MAC Award winner Diana Templeton and Anthony Santelmo, Jr.; THE HELEN HAYES HOSPITAL by special request (8 SOLD OUT SHOWS). ALVIN AILEY AMERICAN DANCE THEATER STUDIOS, DANCERS OVER 40 Celebrates a Wonderful Year tribute to Gower Champion, featuring David Hartman, Marge Champion, Lee Roy Reams, and dancers from Champion s Broadway shows. And CAROL CHANNING IN CONCERT STARRING RICHARD SKIPPER! in Aspen, Colorado.

With Channing s personal endorsement, Skipper has taken his tribute from Manhattan to Las Vegas and San Francisco and all points in between, summoning the legend's spirit, her signature style, and her sense of connection with the audience. This is not a drag show and it is not campy! It is an interactive performance of audience pleasing, critically acclaimed theater.

Richard Skipper s tribute to the legendary diva is so extraordinary that it becomes nearly impossible to distinguish between the two. Carol Channing herself agrees, saying, . . . this is the first time ever I have been shown with so much love, respect, and polish Richard Skipper is a TRUE MUSICAL COMEDY STAR! He is FABULOUS AS ME! And as Richard s many awards and testimonials attest, Richard Skipper as Carol Channing is one of the most polished productions of its kind out there.
What Skipper recreates are Channing s memorable shows in Vegas and on Broadway, in which the diva proved she could do a whole lot more than just diamond-happy Lorelei Lee. He has won two MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret) Awards, the Backstage Bistro Award and was named one of the top cabaret performers of the year by Cabaret Hotline. He has also been awarded the coveted IGCITA (International Guild of Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Artists) CLONEY award for Outstanding Tribute to a Legend, and has appeared with the great lady herself at the Palace of Fine Arts. For more information about other performances, tributes and awards, visit Richard s website at http://www.RichardSkipper.com.

Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbow'd.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:

My partner and I and a friend will be visiting San Francisco for the first time. In fact, this will be our first visit to California. We will be staying in the castro district. We would appreciate it very much if someone who is familiar with San Francisco could give us some ideas of bars, clubs and other attractions that might be of interest to us. We are well rounded people, so we could hang with the most prim and proper crowd to the most outrageous, scandalous and scary crowd. People are people to us. Thanks for your input.

Major Manhattan Big-Room DJ leaving the music industry and selling personal master 20-year dance-music vinyl collection.

Played all the biggest night-clubs and arenas in New York City for over 20 years, and the collection consists of all the biggest house/techno/trance records that were played at Sound Factory, Tunnel, Lime Light, Palladium, Arena, New Sound Factory, Twilo, Crobar, et cetera, over the last 20 years of Manhattan’s big-nightclub dance music history.

This is my own private “master” collection which I never intended to sell and it was distilled form over 200, 000 records, and I only kept about 1000 of the very best DJ only and white label big-room records to use as my base for my own DJ-act and to re-mix and produce with.

NYC dance music DJ’s are now getting $50,000 for three hour sets to play records like this off of CD’s (to preserve the vinyl masters), so anyone who wants to be a serious DJ or knows what to do with this collection (production wise) can easily make a fortune with this vinyl collection.

Each master was played NO MORE than 10 times, and many were played only once (to copy them to cd which we played during performances).

Collection took 20 years of digging every day in Manhattan DJ records stores and in cities around the world (Germany, Australia, England, etc).

Extremely rare big-room dance music collection, includes; ALL the big JUNIOR VASQUEZ records. The big Jonathan Peters records. Most of the huge DJ only

big-room vocal remixes (Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, Barbara Tucker, Sinead O’Conner, etc). Also ALL the unauthorized underground big-room dance remixes of Madonna and Grace Jones.

Collection has no filler records (anything which didn’t make the NYC dance-floors crazy was thrown away over the last 20 years), and each vinyl master is a huge underground club hit. Collection is preserved in 10 steel DJ Record Cases classified by genre – House, Techno, Trance, Tribal, Peak records, Vocals, After-Hours, etc.

It took 20 dedicated years to find and build this big-room dance music collection, and anyone who buys it will have the same exact rare nightclub records that all the big NYC DJ’s are using to cash in now that DJ and dance-music culture has exploded world-wide. You’ll have the same exact records that Junior Vasquez, and Jonathan Peters, Danny Tenaglia, and Roger Sanchez, and Victor Calderone, and Erick Morillo are using as their masters to play daily gigs and festivals around the world at $30,000 - $75,000 (and up) per gig rates.

Collection for sale only as a whole (no single record requests unless you are prepared to pay a fortune for specific producers like Junior Vasquez, etc). Serious inquiries only.

All international interest welcome.

Please feel welcome to contact us with any questions, write anytime to info@audiography.org, jacqui@audiography.org, or booking@audiography.org
