CLOSED: Garrett's Saloon

Garrett's Saloon is a great place to go for some of the friendliest people in Columbus. The bitter queens are kept to a minimum here. I like to go out there with friends or to make new ones. The bartenders know how to pour a great drink at a fair price. Jeff is always great to see. Phil, Matt and Rodney are always there to make you smile :) Some of the hottest strippers in columbus dance there and there is never a cover charge(that means more dollars for g-strings...) as some there like to say "take off your pants!" always worth a visit.

Garrett's has by far the best staff in town with great drinks! There is usually always an employee or two hanging out on their days off. Great place to meet up with friends for a drink and to relax or even make some new friends.

Some things may have changed since previous reviews.. country theme is lively, with a fair balance for those not into country music. Strippers on Saturday are no cover, $2 on other stripper nights. GREAT (GREAT!) bartenders. Uncle Phil, the owner, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Having had a cowboy of my own I can say that Garretts is to cowboys as cellphones are to the Amish. Garretts has a certain Western theme, but the similarity ends there. I was not moved by the cow-hide-looking stool covers or the wood paneling. It's a bar, average in all respects, but with good bartenders and the absolute BEST karaoke in town. Bring a friend, or a few friends, because it's cold if you go alone. And the $5 cover on Sat. is excessive for strippers. I stick to the karaoke days.

Although not in the best of neighborhoods, Garrett's Saloon is a great place for drag shows, strip shows and more. Mostly country western and cowboy themed.
