Fabric closed a few weeks ago, and will not be re-opening. Just FYI. Instead, check out the Apple Bar across the street. Same owner. Okay, it's a straight bar, but it has hunky bar tenders, and great martini-like drinks.

Everyone's heard about it, but no one has seen it. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

so it's small, semi-unpleasant, and homely. fabric is not the place to go if you're looking to hang out with a crowd of 3 or more. however, there is a super-fun (j/k) pretentious group of 5-7 people on thursdays and 3/4 minors on fri and sat.

This bar is a great place to hook-up & hang out w/ your friends & lovers. On a recent night out my newly coupled friends & I chose this place to meet & greet. It was interesting & the music was upbeat and dance worthy. We were the first ones out on the spacious dance floor & were then followed by other would be dance whores, who weren't willing to be the first. We had an incredible time & my friends raved about the next day! The ever changing color below & behind the bar is one of the most amazing light shows I've ever seen in an Austin gay bar....I couldn't stop checking it out! So put this one on your list, you'll be glad you did!

I love the dance music. Specially when they place BPM dance music.
