GayCities Members report that Pegasus (CLOSED) has closed

In the first two floors of the Pittsburgh Eagle
This basement club is no more, but Pegasus has reopened in the first two floors of the Pittsburgh Eagle. The club attracts a younger crowd, and those boys love to dance.

However there is no more Eagle and maybe this venue needs to decide which bar it is. People stopped going to the eagle years ago - I remember going on a Saturday night 2 years ago and NO ONE WAS THERE.. but the employees. Pegasus moving there was probably the only reason it is still open. Friday is the better night to go unless you are into a bar with ten people in it on a Saturday night. It seems like the place needs to close not because of location but because of ownership - It is 2011 NOT 1989.

Talk about gone to the crapper. Used to be the best bar in the city but now is nothing but under 21 twinks and their wishful girlfriends. Bartenders not very friendly and drinks high. You can't wonder freely throughout bar because certain areas are for 21 yrs old only so you have to suck down your drink if want to dance to a good song. Just plain dissappointing and not worth the time or drive to the out of the way location. Don't Go.

Pegasus was terrible on Liberty Avenue and moving to the Eagle -- in one of the cities most dangerous neighborhoods -- only makes it worse. They don't take credit cards and still allow smoking - talk about archaic and not with the times. BAN SMOKING IN ALL BARS!
